Dal 9 maggio al 22 novembre all’ Arsenale e ai giardini della Biennale avrà luogo la 56. esposizione internazionale d’ arte. 89 saranno solo i partecipanti nazionali, e 44 gli eventi collaterali che daranno vita ad iniziative in vari luoghi della città. “All the world’ s futures”, questo il nome di questa edizione, si diramerà dal padiglione centrale all’ Arsenale stesso. Saranno 135 gli artisti che quest’ anno, con le loro opere, esprimeranno il rapporto che c’ è tra l’ arte e lo sviluppo della realtà umana, sociale e politica; e in che modo le tensioni d’ oggi, la così detta “age of anxiety”, influisce sulla sensibilità degli artisti e sui loro stati d’ animo.
From 9th May to 22nd November at the Arsenale and at Bienalle’s gardens there will be the 56th edition of the international art show. 89 will be only the national partecipants, and 44 the collateral events that will take place in different places of the city. “All the world’ s futures”, this is the name of this edition, will take place from the main stand to the Arsenale. There will take part 135 artists from all over the world that this year, with their works, will express the relationship between the art and the development of the human, political and social reality; and in which way the “age of anxiety” influences on the sensibility of the artist.
